Plimoth Patuxet Museums Wedding

Katie-Beth and David's heartfelt wedding by Plymouth Bay featured a six piece jazz band and two proud canine members of the wedding party.

JUNE 1, 2024

After taking Amtrak to Boston from New York the day prior, I rented a car and drove down to Plymouth on June 1, 2024, to photograph Katie-Beth and David's wedding at the Plimoth Patuxet Museums. Katie-Beth and her bridesmaids got ready at a gorgeous Airbnb that looked out over Plymouth Bay, where they got into makeup courtesy of Kelly Ella Makeup and with hair styling by Wedding affHairs. Meanwhile, David got ready down the road at the 1620 Hotel Plymouth Harbor

It was a short two-minute drive–courtesy of Special Occasion Limousine & Coach–to the Plimoth Patuxet Museums after which Katie-Beth made her way to the Hornblower Garden, where David stood waiting for their first look together. The two shared a few sweet and intimate moments before proceeding to the ceremony area for photos with their wedding party.

At the ceremony procession, Wally and Tigger–Katie-Beth and David's two adorable dogs–joyfully trotted down the aisle. Katie-Beth walked down the aisle shortly after, accompanied by her parents on each arm. After the ceremony, a six-piece jazz band greeted guests in the reception space as they entered for cocktail hour.

The dinner buffet included oven-roasted beef with sirloin pan jus, New England clam chowder, and Maine lobster mac and cheese. Guests enjoyed an outdoor game area featuring a bean bag toss and Roll-A-Coaster®, a game invented and trademarked by the groom himself! The jazz band played into the night as Katie-Beth and David celebrated their first night as a married couple surrounded by their friends and family.
