Park Loft Wedding

I took the train to shoot this wedding from Boston–where I worked full-time during the spring–and stayed the night in Brooklyn before taking the New Jersey Transit to Oceanport the following morning. Fortunately, I gave myself an hour of extra time to get to the venue, the entirety of which was spent waiting for a trespasser in the tunnel to be removed. Classic NJ Transit.

After arriving at the Park Loft, I captured the bride and groom exchanging gifts and having coffee together before they parted ways to get ready. The bridal suite was any wedding photographer's dream–filled with natural light, large golden-framed mirrors, and no shortage of photo-worthy spots.

After taking some photos of the couple and their families in the banquet hall, we moved over to the enclosed ceremony space. Tissues were quickly passed around as the bride walked towards her groom, who had tears in his eyes as two of his groomsmen put their hands on his shoulders.

Following a heartfelt ceremony, the couple's guests made their way to cocktail hour while I snagged some shots of the couple together by the bridal suite. The celebrations that ensued thereafter were filled with laughter, signature cocktails named after the couple's dogs, and Pittsburgh Steelers apparel.
